COPES Peer Center is an extension of the Oregon Washington Health Network, a nonprofit organization focused on helping those who are suffering from Substance Use Disorders. The COPES Peer Centers offer low barrier access to treatment, resources, and help for those ready to make the change toward recovery. At COPES Peer center we will never turn you away. Our philosophy is to meet everyone where they are at. Our doors are open to anyone seeking a safe space, peer support, and a welcoming community where you can belong.

What is a Peer?
A Peer mentor is someone who uses their lived experience to support others who may be facing similar struggles. Combined with the skills they've learned in formal training, Peer Mentors can assist others by providing guidance, modeling healthy recovery, offering knowledge, and building a mentor relationship on the foundation of trust and understanding.
